Blue skies

It’s the blue sky,

who’s talking to me.

It’s the fresh air,

who wants to play.

It’s the blue sky,

telling me finally,

that I can dream

today, tonight and for eternity.

And it’s the bright sun,

who’s caressing the trees,

warming up the valleys,

with its flame-made key.

It’s the blue sky,

what I’m dying to see.

full of marshmallow clouds,

dancing whitely all around.

And it’s the crickets,

hiding from light,

waiting too long,

for another cricket song.

It’s the morning,

filling my lungs.

With blue skies and fresh air,

calling me home.
